Job summary

Synergi, LLC is seeking a motivated Estimator to join our growing pre-construction team. You will develop accurate project budgets, scopes, and proposals by collaborating with clients, vendors, subcontractors, engineering, and operations to win and launch exciting architectural projects.

The role emphasizes technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and strong communication, with long-term career growth in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Science, or related field.
  • Experience with estimating and take-off software (Bluebeam is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling/template skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and detailed cost analysis.
  • Develop scopes of work and prepare competitive bid proposals.
  • Prepare RFIs and communicate with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
  • Analyze labor, material, fabrication, and installation costs.
  • Build budgets, bid leveling sheets, and project estimates.
  • Identify project risks, opportunities, and value engineering ideas.
  • Maintain estimating databases and pricing tools.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and project management teams.
  • Support process improvements within the pre-construction department.

The Opportunity

Synergi is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join our growing pre-construction team.

In this role, you will work closely with clients, vendors, subcontractors, engineering teams, and operations to develop accurate project budgets, scopes, and proposals. You will play a critical role in helping secure and launch exciting architectural and construction projects by combining technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and strong communication skills.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents

Experience
  • Proven experience as an Estimator or in a similar construction/pre-construction role
  • Experience estimating curtainwall, railing systems, architectural metals, or related scopes is a strong plus
Education & Certifications (Preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Science, or related field
  • Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) designation is an asset

Work Environment

This role primarily operates in a professional office environment, with occasional visits to manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and active construction sites.

This role may require occasional travel to local and national job sites.

Physical Requirements

This position may require prolonged periods of sitting, computer work, and occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds. Employees may occasionally walk through shops, warehouses, or construction environments with varying noise levels and conditions.
