Job summary

Imperium Global, a well-established civil construction contractor in California, is seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join its preconstruction team. You will prepare accurate estimates for civil and heavy civil work, collaborate with operations and leadership, and influence project wins.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans and bid documents, performing quantity take-offs, building detailed cost estimates, obtaining quotes, and delivering bid packages on time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ estimating experience with a civil, heavy civil or site development contractor.
• Strong knowledge of earthwork, underground utilities and paving.
• Experience with estimating and take-off software (e.g. HCSS HeavyBid, B2W, Agtek, Bluebeam or similar).
• Familiarity with California public works bidding (Caltrans, municipal or agency work is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage several bids against tight deadlines.
• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.

As they keep growing, they’re looking for an experienced Civil Estimator to join their preconstruction team and help win and shape their next round of projects.
