Job summary

Keller in Birmingham, AL is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our geotechnical and foundation projects in the region. You will develop accurate, competitive cost estimates for typical projects and support senior estimators on larger jobs.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, performing quantity take-offs, evaluating geotechnical data, compiling documents, and preparing bid proposals while coordinating with operations, engineering and project management to turn bids into successful

Keller is looking for an experienced Estimator based out of our Birmingham, AL l ocation.

As an Estimator, you will play a key role in the estimating process for geotechnical and foundation projects across the region. You will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for typical projects and will support senior estimators on large scale and complex projects. It will also be the responsibility of the Estimator to follow up with the client and ensure the fulfillment of the proposal.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a BS Degree in Construction Management or Geotechnical Engineering. Must be well organized, self motivated, reliable, detail oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal & customer relations skills. Excellent computer skills and written & verbal communication skills necessary.

Additional Information

Salary Range

$80,000 - $100,000 per year

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
