Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator in Colorado to lead costing efforts for current and future projects. You will analyze blueprints, prepare time, material, and labor estimates, and collaborate with engineers and subcontractors to refine costs.

The role requires 5+ years in construction estimating, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with industry software like Accubid and Bluebeam. Remote work is not indicated; on-site collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience in the construction estimating field.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• B.S. in engineering or construction-related field desirable.
• Knowledge of construction contract documentation.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with Accubid, Bluebeam, QuickPen, ProCore and other construction programs.
• Familiarity with project management/document control software.
• Familiarity with construction/financial software packages.

• Attend walk-throughs, pre-bid and scope clarification meetings.
• Quantitative take-off and computer entry.
• Prepare scope letters and proposals.

• Working knowledge of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines
• Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Familiarity with Accubid, Bluebeam, Quick Pen, ProCore and other mechanical, technical, or construction programs
• Familiarity with project management/document control software
