Job summary

DPR Construction seeks an experienced estimator to deliver comprehensive and accurate project cost estimates supporting planning and execution. You will analyze documents, market conditions, and historical data to inform estimates and promote profitability.

Collaborating with design and procurement, you will develop innovative solutions, present data-driven recommendations, and contribute to continuous improvement across the estimating team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 4-5 years of experience in estimating, cost analysis, project controls, or a related field required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares detailed and accurate project cost estimates for moderately complex projects, incorporating material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs from concept through final pricing.
• Extracts production data for planning, scope alignment, and integration of family of companies to support project deliverables.
• Reviews project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify scope, risks, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Coordinates with Precon Coordinators, project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to assemble comprehensive bid packages, and provide clear instructions and clarifications to bidders.
• Analyzes market trends, vendor pricing, and historical data to inform estimate development and risk assessment.
• Contributes to value engineering efforts by analyzing cost impacts and proposing alternative materials, methods, or solutions to enhance project value.
• Supports estimate reviews and documentation by organizing assumptions, qualifications, and clarifications to promote transparency and alignment with project objectives.

Education

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience required

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
