Job summary

ANDRITZ in Ambridge, PA is seeking an Estimator to support operations and mill services. The role focuses on estimating project costs, purchasing equipment, and drafting proposals to secure desirable outcomes for V412 projects.

Responsibilities include cost breakdowns, supplier quotations, proposal preparation, BOM creation, routing and coordination with inventory and shipping to ensure timely execution of V412 jobs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to estimate costs and prepare proposals.
• Experience obtaining quotations from suppliers for purchased components.
• Proven ability to create final proposals from estimates and data.

The Role

Under the direction of the Vice President of Operations and Mill Services , the Estimator is responsible for estimating work Purchasing Equipment and creation of proposals.

Education and Experience

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Must have familiarity with manufacturing practices in mill-type equipment, and with commercially available components.
• Design and/or shop experience on related equipment required.
• Ability to read blueprints is required.
