Job summary

Valcourt Group is seeking a detail-oriented Takeoff Technician in Naples, FL to support the Estimating Department. You will prepare accurate quantity takeoffs for commercial waterproofing, concrete and facade restoration, and building envelope projects.

The role collaborates with estimators, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure precise quantities and timely bid delivery. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of commercial construction experience, are proficient with digital

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of commercial construction experience, preferably in estimating or preconstruction.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs with digital takeoff software.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specs, and bid documents to perform detailed quantity takeoffs.
• Measure concrete repairs, waterproofing, sealants, and façade/restoration scopes.
• Organize bid documents and maintain electronic project files.
• Assist estimators with pricing worksheets and proposal development.
• Coordinate with vendors/subcontractors for pricing and bid clarity.
• Identify scope gaps, exclusions, and risks with estimators.
