Texas Precision Plating (DBA DFW Anodize and Metal Finishing, LLC) in Garland, TX seeks an Estimating and Quality Planning Associate Engineer to lead front-end quoting, support production planning, and provide technical guidance for defense, commercial, and aerospace components.

You will calculate part areas, rack densities, and current density to estimate labor, materials, and processing costs, generate quotes in our ERP, and coordinate with customers and vendors on masking tolerances and lead

Qualifications

Engineering degree in a related technical field or equivalent.
3+ years estimating in metal finishing, electroplating, or aerospace manufacturing.
Experience with ERP systems and traveler routings in ERP.

Responsibilities

Evaluate RFQs, blueprints, and specs to determine finishing requirements and feasibility.
Calculate part surface areas, rack densities, and labor and processing costs.
Generate quotes using ERP and align with capacity and pricing guidelines.
Interface with customers and vendors for technical clarifications on masking tolerances and lead times.
Analyze historical cost data to refine pricing models and improve margins.
