Job summary

Hughes Brothers Construction, Inc. is seeking an Estimating Project Coordinator to support bid opportunities and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors on projects in Central Florida. You will track pricing, deadlines and follow up on submitted bids.

The role includes researching potential clients, maintaining an active bid schedule and providing administrative support to the estimating team in a busy office environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, estimating, or project coordination.
• Familiar with bid tracking systems or CRM software.
• Able to work with vendors, subcontractors and clients.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Prepare RFQs and distribute to vendors/subcontractors for upcoming projects.

Estimating Project Coordinator

Hughes Brothers Construction is now hiring! We are a heavy civil contractor specializing in large site infrastructure, underground utilities and roadway construction throughout Central Florida. The Estimating Project Coordinator will play an important role in coordinating bid opportunities, communicating with vendors and subcontractors, researching potential clients and projects, and ensuring timely follow up on submitted bids.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare RFQs (Request for quotes) and distribute requests to vendors and subcontractors for upcoming projects.
• Assist the estimating team with tracking bid opportunities, deadlines, and incoming pricing.
• Maintain a strict follow-up schedule for submitted bids and to identify next steps.
• Research potential clients and projects.
• Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, clients, and internal team members.
• Provide administrative support, including but not limited to the organization of quotes, scheduling and data entry.

Desired Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction, estimating, project coordinator, or administrative support.
• Experience using bid tracking systems, CRM software, or project management tools.
• Familiarity dealing with vendors, subcontractors, and construction bid processes.
• Self-motivated, dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong organization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
