Position: Estimating/Pricing Specialist

Altaflex, a division of OSI Electronics, seeks an Estimating/Pricing Specialist responsible for executing all inbound quote requests and bid proposals generated by sales and program management teams. The role involves defining proposal requirements, managing and controlling inbound customer quotes through internal approvals efficiently, transforming inquiries into outbound quotes, coordinating with internal resources/vendors, and finalizing quotes via secure channels to ensure compliance with bid requirements and company policies. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, handle time-sensitive work in a fast-paced environment, and be proactive and results-oriented. Skills in creative problem-solving, quick learning, and adaptability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, analyze, and estimate sales quotes accurately and timely, preparing them for management approval using internal tools and resources.
• Create quote sheets for customers.
• Update costings and input variables.
• Calculate yields, margins, labor costs, and build material costs.
• Coordinate and initiate processes to create new parts numbers.
• Uphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
• Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct.
• Report any quality issues or defects for corrective actions.
• Perform additional duties as needed to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
• Minimum one year of practical experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Detail-oriented problem solver capable of multitasking and working independently.
• Strong follow-up and interpersonal skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to interface with employees, guests, vendors, and team members at all levels.
• Ability to read drawings is highly desirable.
• Self-motivated, flexible, analytical, and open-minded.
