Ladders seeks an Estimating Manager to lead a team in the Real Estate & Construction space for remote US-based projects. You will develop timely estimates to support competitive bidding and pursue new opportunities.

Responsibilities include guiding strategy, reviewing bid packages, mentoring estimators, and collaborating with management to improve estimating quality and productivity across bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of estimating or relevant experience.
• Expertise with Accubid, LiveCount Cloud, and Bluebeam is preferred.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Estimating Manager to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space.

This remote role will lead a team responsible for developing accurate, timely estimates that support competitive bidding and successful project pursuit. The position plays a key role in shaping estimating strategy, reviewing bid packages, and aligning technical execution with project objectives. It also partners closely with management and other stakeholders to improve estimating quality, productivity assumptions, and overall bid readiness.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of estimators to ensure timely and accurate estimates
• Establish project objectives and prepare detailed cost estimates
• Contribute to technical strategy and execution plans
• Review proposal specifications and attend pre-bid meetings
• Mentor and train Estimators and Sr. Estimators
• Evaluate labor productivity and installation costs
• Provide detailed reviews of bid packages to management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of estimating or relevant experience
• Expertise in Accubid estimating software, LiveCount Cloud, and Bluebeam preferred
• Advanced knowledge of construction technology and estimating techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team
