Job summary

Armstrong World Industries is seeking an Estimating Manager – Architectural Interiors to lead pricing, estimating, and cross‑functional coordination for complex projects in Gilberts, Illinois. You will manage RFQs, develop pricing guides, and mentor a team to deliver accurate, margin‑driven estimates from intake through approval.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in estimating or architectural fabrication, strong proficiency with AutoCAD/Rhino, ERP/MRP, and a proven ability to improve SOPs and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Design, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in estimating, architectural fabrication, manufacturing, or construction.
• Experience mentoring, training, or leading others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pricing, cost, discount, and SKU databases to support accurate estimates.
• Develop and manage pricing guides, forecasts, and pricing structures.
• Review purchase orders, manage price increases, and protect margins.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the Estimates team and ensure quality outputs.
• Train Estimators and Sales Representatives on tools and processes.
