Job summary

Lincoln Contracting & Equipment seeks an Estimating Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to meet goals within time and funding parameters. Responsibilities include developing scopes, budgets, and bid documents for design-build projects.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree or equivalent, PMP preferred, and experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and Excel-based estimates.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience.
• PMP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work and budgets for Design Build Projects.
• Solicit subcontractors, vendors and material suppliers through email list & Blue Book.
• Continuously develop vendor & sub list for various work regions.
• Maintain a Drop Box site so that prospective bidders can download the bid documents.
• Coordinate the project requirements with the subcontractors, vendors and material suppliers required to bid the project.
• Estimate the project cost & general conditions.
• Develop spreadsheets that reflect the bid forms for projects.
• Created various excel spreadsheets to expedite estimating take-offs.

Lincoln Contracting & Equipment is seeking an Estimating Manager who will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work and budgets for Design Build Projects.
• Solicit subcontractors, vendors and material suppliers through email list & Blue Book.
• Continuously develop vendor & sub list for various work regions.
• Maintain a Drop Box site so that prospective bidders can download the bid documents.
• Coordinate the project requirements with the subcontractors, vendors and material suppliers required to bid the project.
• Estimate the project cost & general conditions.
• Develop spreadsheets that reflect the bid forms for projects.
• Created various excel spreadsheets to expedite estimating take-offs.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Manages 3-5 subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 20-50 employees in the Project foreman.
• Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.

Education and/or Experience

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
