Consigli Construction Co., Inc. is seeking an Estimating Intern to support the estimating team in a hands-on, in-person environment. You will assist with quantity take-offs, subcontractor coordination, product research, and document management to help bids and project goals.

This role provides practical cost analysis experience, collaboration with engineers and suppliers, and exposure to tender documentation and value-engineering processes while pursuing a related degree.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a related Bachelor's degree with construction focus.
• Foundational understanding of construction processes, materials, and terminology.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specs, and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with quantity take-offs, unit pricing, and cost comparisons; compile estimates for materials, labor, and systems.
• Manage subcontractor lists, conduct product research, and maintain estimating databases.
• Conduct site visits to collect data and analyze historic cost data for bids.
• Prepare and reconcile cost estimates against previous projects and monitor expenditures.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams during estimating.
• Support bid development by maintaining tender docs and participating in reviews.
• Use cost-monitoring systems to identify risks and variances.
