The Estimating Engineer assists the Estimating Department in developing accurate, timely, and detailed cost estimates for large, complex heavy civil and mechanical construction projects, including bid-build, design-build, CM/GC, PPP, and EPC projects. Responsibilities include preparing estimates, budgets, schedules, managing risks, and independently determining quantities, scopes, and quotes. The role requires meeting deadlines and working independently or as part of a team.

Estimating Engineer Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with MS Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience using Estimating/Engineering software: HCSS Heavy Bid, AutoCAD, On Screen Takeoff or similar
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience with at least 2 years of relevant experience
