Job summary

TalentBridge is partnering with a well-established manufacturer to recruit an Estimating Engineer. You will support evaluating and preparing technical and commercial quotations for custom fabrication projects in petrochemical and industrial markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Experience interpreting drawings and technical specs.
• Proficiency with Excel for data analysis and cost estimating.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specs, drawings, and requirements to scope quotations.
• Prepare technical and commercial estimates for custom equipment and fabrication.
• Develop estimating strategies based on design and material considerations.
• Identify materials, components, and manufacturing approaches for cost-effective projects.
• Coordinate with suppliers for pricing, lead times, and availability.
• Estimate production effort, timelines, and costs for fabrication.
• Analyze requirements to identify key cost drivers and risks.
• Prepare and maintain estimates and quotation documents.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing to validate assumptions.
