Job summary

Metropolitan Companies is seeking an Estimating Coordinator to join the Estimating department in Wyomissing. The role supports pre-construction efforts, creates final bid packages, and coordinates licenses and registrations.

Ideal candidates are recent Construction Management graduates or those with 2+ years in construction. The package includes benefits, holiday pay, PTO, bonus, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or 2+ years of experience in the construction industry.
• Basic working knowledge of construction terminology.
• Strong computer and technical skills – MS Office Suite.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 2+ years experience in construction preferred (Building Connected / Procore familiarity)

Responsibilities

• Support the Pre-Construction process by attending meetings, recording and following up on action items.
• Print drawings, prepare permit applications and coordinate the procurement of necessary licenses and registrations as directed.
• Track invitations to bid, maintain master job calendars, and flag critical submission deadlines.
• Solicit pricing, collect subcontractor quotes, and track trade partner prequalification data.
• Organize architectural drawings, specifications, addenda, and RFI files in shared servers.
• Format final bid packages, complete compliance forms, and assist with basic material quantity take-offs.

The Estimating Coordinator will support the Estimating team with pre construction meetings, creating final bid packages, and more. Key Responsibilities
