Job summary

Metropolitan Companies Wyomissing is seeking an Estimating Coordinator to join our Estimating team. You will support pre-construction meetings, help create final bid packages, and assist with related tasks.

This role is ideal for a recent Construction Management graduate or someone with construction industry experience, offering a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability coverage, 401k, holiday pay and time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or 2+ years of experience in the construction industry.
• Basic working knowledge of construction terminology.
• Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pre-Construction process by attending meetings, recording and following up on action items.
• Print drawings, prepare permit applications and coordinate licenses and registrations as directed.
• Track invitations to bid, maintain master job calendars, and flag submission deadlines.
• Solicit pricing, collect subcontractor quotes, and track trade partner prequalification data.
• Organize architectural drawings, specifications, addenda, and RFIs in shared servers.
• Format final bid packages, complete compliance forms, and assist with basic quantity take-offs.

Metropolitan Companies is looking for an Estimating Coordinator to join our team! The Estimating Coordinator will support the Estimating team with pre construction meetings, creating final bid packages, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Pre-Construction process by attending meetings, recording and following up on action items
• Print drawings, prepare permit applications and coordinate the procurement of necessary licenses and registrations as directed
• Track invitations to bid, maintain master job calendars, and flag critical submission deadlines
• Solicit pricing, collect subcontractor quotes, and track trade partner prequalification data
• Organize architectural drawings, specifications, addenda, and request-for-information (RFI) files in shared servers
• Format final bid packages, complete compliance forms, and assist with basic material quantity take-offs

Requirements
