Job summary

Ladies & Gentlemen Salon and Spa seeks an educator for its esthetics program to ensure the curriculum meets Ohio requirements and industry standards. You will oversee theoretical and practical training and provide feedback to students.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, evaluating attendance, administering exams, and collaborating with management to enhance program quality. A strong background in esthiology education and Aveda Institute experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate requirement
• Esthiology license required
• Ohio managing esthiology license required

Responsibilities

• Ensure curriculum reflects State of Ohio requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
• Promote safe, sanitary, and professional practices among students and instructors in all esthetics services.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date academic records and provide feedback on student performance.
• Monitor and document student attendance per school policies and communicate attendance concerns.
• Develop, administer, and evaluate exams to assess knowledge and competency.
• Prepare and maintain student performance reports and provide constructive feedback.
• Recommend curriculum improvements and program enhancements to management.
• Collaborate with management, instructors and staff to support program quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Ohio Managing Esthiology License

Aveda Institute graduate

Educator in Esthetics

Retail experience in beauty industry (Aveda)

Teaching experience in beauty industry
