Esthetician (Trainer) and Front of House NYC

We operate in studios, online, and through third-party retailers such as Sephora, Selfridges, SAKS, and Net-a-Porter. Based in London, we serve the UK and USA with plans to expand into new markets.

Job Summary

This role supports front of house operations and trainers by providing coverage during PTO and call-out situations. As a trainer, you will conduct facial workouts, deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales, and build client retention. As a studio host, you will manage bookings, serve as the first point of contact for clients, and maximize sales opportunities through rebooking and retail sales. The primary location is our Zero Bond studio, with travel across other locations in NYC as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an exceptional customer experience, focusing on retail sales and client retention.
• Sell FaceGym offerings, including workouts and homecare products, maintaining updated knowledge of all products and services.
• Create an engaging retail experience aligned with the client journey and brand story.
• Answer client inquiries confidently, providing accurate contraindications and information about workouts.
• Coordinate daily operations, enforce cancellation and lateness policies professionally.
• Handle customer complaints effectively and overcome sales challenges.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations according to health and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and manage handovers.
• Proficiently operate Zenoti booking system, POS systems, and card machines.
• Support management by covering shifts across locations when necessary.
• Represent the brand professionally, maintaining high standards of grooming and demeanor.
• Meet performance targets, complete paperwork accurately, and contribute to team goals.
• Promote the brand through word-of-mouth, social media, and event participation.
• Maintain sanitization standards and care for high-end equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid New York Esthetician License and legal eligibility to work in the US.
• Flexibility to work consistent weekly shifts, including evenings, holidays, and at least four weekends per month.
• Ability to perform all menu services after training.
• Ability to stand for at least 3 hours during workouts, practicing safe body mechanics.
• Punctuality, reliability, and dedication to work commitments.
• Willingness to support multiple locations as needed.

Pay Structure

• Host: $25/hr
• Trainer: higher of hourly ($25) or commission (18% of menu price) based on weekly earnings.
• Event pay: $40/hr
• Retail commission: 25% on skincare/manual tools, 10% on EMS/electric tools, 5% on third-party products.
