Job summary

Paul Mitchell the School Austin is seeking to hire an Esthetician Skincare Teacher to join our Team. You will inspire and teach skincare to our students, using hands-on clinical instruction and objective-based education.

As part of our team, you will guide students through skin analysis, ingredient technology, prescriptive retailing, waxing and makeup techniques, preparing them for successful careers in skincare and guest service. Teaching experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Esthetician license (2yrs minimum).
• Esthetician experience in a salon/spa for 1 year or more.
• Customer service experience.
• Teaching experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach skincare theory and hands-on techniques to students.
• Inspire students through objective-based education and mini-classes.
• Cover skin analysis, ingredient technology, prescriptive retailing, waxing and makeup.
• Prepare students for successful careers in skincare and guest service.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN ESTHETICIAN SKINCARE TEACHER

As an Esthetician Skincare Teacher, you take great pride in your students and strive to create extraordinary learning experiences in the clinic classroom using objective-based education, mini-classes, and learning centers. You teach your students the science of healthy skin with hands-on professional techniques and skincare innovations and technologies. From skin analysis, ingredient technology, and prescriptive retailing to waxing and makeup techniques, you prepare our students for their careers in skincare. Additionally, you teach them the business and guest service skills they will need to be successful.

QUALIFICATIONS
