Job description

• Provide facials, waxing services and body therapies with professionalism and personalized service for all spa guests.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current Waxing License.
• One to two years of experience as an esthetician.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide facials, waxing, and body therapies with professionalism and personalized service for all spa guests.
• Ensure outstanding service through upholding spa flow of greeting the guest, consultation, treatment and closing.
• Recommends products for home use and suggests other beneficial treatments offered in the spa.
• Begins and ends all treatments on time.
• Ensures work areas are clean and equipment is disinfected according to procedures.
• Assesses contraindications of guest that may prevent service from taking place.
• Report all guest complaints to team leader.
• Ensure company policies and procedures outlined in employee manual are followed.
• Keep current on all licensure and insurance.
• Create and maintains guest files according to procedures.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain the cleanliness of the salon area, and rest of the Spa/Gym area as needed.
• Maintain consistent stock of supplies throughout Spa.
• Attend product knowledge training as required.
• Keep current and up to date knowledge of changing trends and developments in the department.
• Assist the Fitness center when requested.
• Respond to any special projects requested by the Director of Spa Services, Resident Manager or General Manager.

ENVIRONMENT:

• Work in doors in a well-ventilated salon.
