Role Description

We are seeking a Connecticut-licensed esthetician who shares our approach to thoughtful, personalized care and takes pride in their craft.

This role includes performing customized facial treatments and complementary beauty services while creating a calm, elevated client experience rooted in genuine care and attention to detail.

We are especially interested in practitioners who have training or certification in at least one holistic facial or wellness modality and are interested in continuing to develop their technique through education and hands-on experience.

We’re looking for someone who is curious, professional, warm with clients, and interested in growing alongside an evolving independent beauty and wellness studio.

Responsibilities

• Perform customized skincare treatments and facials
• Incorporate holistic facial techniques such as Gua Sha, herbal poultice, sculptural facial massage and lifting techniques, facial lymphatic drainage, and intraoral/buccal techniques when appropriately trained
• Provide body waxing, lash lifts/extensions, brow shaping and tinting, and makeup application
• Maintain high standards of sanitation, infection control, treatment-room preparation, and client safety
• Educate clients on skincare routines, treatment plans, and product recommendations based on their individual needs
• Support retail and studio growth through thoughtful product and service recommendations
• Maintain accurate client notes and treatment records
• Participate in continued education, training, studio events, and community activations when applicable
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment environment
• Contribute to a warm, professional, and collaborative studio culture

Qualifications

• Training or certification in at least one holistic facial or wellness modality, such as Gua Sha, sculptural facial massage/lifting techniques, facial lymphatic drainage, Dr Vodder MLD, herbal poultice, Neolifting, Kobido or intraoral/buccal massage
• Interest in integrating advanced skincare technology with hands-on and holistic techniques
• Experience with waxing, lash and brow services, and makeup application preferred
• Strong understanding of sanitation, infection control, and client safety
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse clientele
• Strong attention to detail and respect for treatment protocols
