Job summary

Advanced MedAesthetic Partners is seeking a part-time esthetician in the New York area to provide consistent medical aesthetic treatments and promote skincare regimens. You will document medical information, maintain sanitation, and support patient retention with professional service.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in medical aesthetics, strong customer service, and are on-time with appointments. Flexible scheduling, weekend shifts, and potential commission included.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year practicing medical aesthetics.
• Experience in a dermatology/esthetic setting preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

What you'll do

• Provide consistent professional medical treatments, facial and body treatments in accordance with office protocols and accepted certification practices.
• Actively promote home skin care regimens and document all medical information using appropriate forms and clinical notes in the software system
• Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls
• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures
• Concentrate on patient retention and referrals
• Maintain a social media presence and engagement
• Team player
• Maintain a professional and clean work environment & appearance
• Adhere to local and state licensing/certification laws and regulations
• Handle patients’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously

Requirements

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in an aesthetic, dermatology, or plastic surgery practice
• Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills
• Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality
• Excellent communication and listening skills, as well as basic computer knowledge
• Must be a team player
• Communicate effectively and transparently
• Be courteous and respectful
• Solutions oriented and innovative
• Attendance at all meetings, training, in-services, and other arrangements deemed important to business development by management
• World class professionalism with both patients and co-workers

Licensure & Certifications

• Activeand in good standingstate(that this role is listed in) Estheticianlicense
• Active BLS or ACLS certification
• Laser or additional aesthetic modality certifications highly preferred
• Ability to safely administer treatmentsin accordance withstate regulations and clinical protocols
• Ability to recognize and respond to adverse events and complications associated with aesthetic treatments

Compliance & Documentation

• Ability tomaintainaccurateandtimelypatient documentation
• Adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and company compliance standards
• Commitment to patient safety, informed consent, and ethical clinical practice

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform repetitive fine motor movements with hands and fingers
• Ability to safely handle devices and medical supplies
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and liftstandard medical aesthetic equipment and inventory

Training & Travel

• Willing to complete Rapid Advancement ofMedAestheticPartners (RAMP) 4-week paidtraining program (asdeterminedby AMP leadership)
• Occasional travel for training and professional development
