Role Description

The Esthetician role at Oxygen Med Spa is an on-site position based in the Greater Chicago Area. In this role, the Esthetician performs professional skin care services, including facials, peels, and other treatments aligned with spa protocols and client needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients, recommending appropriate services and home care, performing hair removal services, and maintaining a clean, safe treatment environment. The Esthetician also supports the spa by educating clients on products, assisting with retail sales, and delivering a high level of customer service to ensure a positive spa experience. This position requires consistent adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards and collaboration with the wider spa team.

Qualifications

• Professional esthetics or cosmetology skills, including Skin Care and Cosmetology, with the ability to perform a range of facial and treatment services.
• Proficiency in Hair Removal techniques, such as waxing or other approved methods, with attention to client comfort and safety.
• Strong Customer Service skills to build rapport, understand client needs, and provide a welcoming, professional spa experience.
• Sales abilities to recommend appropriate products and services, support retail goals, and contribute to overall spa revenue.
• Valid state license in esthetics or cosmetology, in accordance with Illinois regulations.
• Knowledge of sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards in a spa or clinical setting.
• Ability to work on-site, including evenings or weekends as needed, and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary spa team.
• Previous experience in a med spa, dermatology office, or luxury spa environment is preferred.
