Job summary

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 4 Estates Maintenance Operative to join the multi-skilled Estates team within the Trust's Estates Department. The post holder will deliver planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair across the Trust's estate.

Responsibilities

• Join the Estates Team to deliver planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance across the Trust estate.
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs and carry out minor installations with minimal disruption to clinical services.
• Maintain heating, ventilation, water, drainage, electrical services and BMS systems.
• Support statutory compliance, water safety and fire safety inspections.
• Work with autonomy within competency and escalate specialist issues as needed.
