Job summary

Shulman Rogers’ Estates, Trusts, and Probate practice group seeks a paralegal with 2+ years of experience in estate and trust administration. The ideal candidate will support attorneys across probate, administration, and tax matters, using probate software and maintaining strong client communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in estate and trust administration.
• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate.
• Strong communication skills with clients and professionals.
• Familiarity with probate software such as GEMS; EVP and iManage a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare probate filings for Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
• Assist with administration of estates and trusts from inception to close.
• Prepare Federal and State estate tax returns.
• Manage estate and trust administration in a timely manner.
