Job summary

Boulay is seeking an Estate and Trust Manager to lead engagements in estate, gift, and fiduciary taxation and trust administration. The role focuses on managing client relationships, overseeing complex tax projects, and delivering strategic tax and planning solutions for individuals and families.

The position emphasizes staff development, collaboration across departments, and staying current on tax laws and industry trends.

Qualifications

6+ years of estate, gift, trust, and fiduciary taxation experience, including complex tax return work.
CPA, EA, or J.D. certification.
Strong knowledge of tax law and IRC.
Ability to manage client relationships and multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Oversee and review complex estate, gift, trust, and fiduciary income tax engagements.
Review fiduciary accounting and trust administration engagements.
Serve as trusted advisor on tax, estate planning, and trust matters.
Manage multiple client relationships and act as primary contact.
Oversee engagement budgets, billing, scheduling, and project execution.
Identify and resolve technical, operational, and client service issues.
Collaborate across departments to deliver client solutions.
Lead, mentor, and develop staff through delegation and feedback.
