Estate Sale Associates/Merchandisers/Cashiers

At Blue Moon Estate Sales, we pride ourselves on having the most friendly and helpful estate liquidators in the business. We seek individuals passionate about helping others and eager to share their enthusiasm. We are looking for Estate Sales Associates/Merchandisers/Cashiers who are energetic, hardworking, and quick learners to join our team. During the week, you will help stage homes for estate sales by organizing the sales area and evaluating items for pricing. On weekends, you will assist in operating and executing the estate sale.

Responsibilities

Weekday tasks:

• Stage items for display to create a pop-up retail shop environment inside residences
• Remove, sort, and organize items throughout the clients' homes, including garages and storage areas
• Place items logically throughout each home
• Evaluate and place price stickers or tags on items or lots of items for sale

Weekend tasks:

• Greet and interact with customers in a friendly manner
• Control crowds and keep shoppers out of designated areas
• Assist customers with questions regarding products and pricing
• Provide excellent customer service
• Use point-of-sale systems to check out customers
• Input customer and item data accurately into the system
• Handle cash responsibly during sales
• Balance registers before and after sales

Qualifications

• Willing to learn basic product pricing
• Ability to work flexible hours and in various locations (primarily in Pinellas County)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation

Compensation: $14.00 per hour
