Job summary

Strong writing, research, and organizational skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and ABA-approved paralegal certification, with prior estate or probate experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with strong academics; relevant experience preferred.
• ABA-approved paralegal certification is a plus.
• Experience supporting probate, estate, or litigation matters is valued.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and prepare discovery requests and responses.
• Draft petitions, complaints, objections, and other pleadings as needed.
• Maintain discovery and assemble exhibits for filings and trials.
• Coordinate service of process and subpoenas with attention to deadlines.
• Communicate with clients, manage case files, and draft memoranda for attorneys.
• Prepare and format briefs and motions compliant with applicable rules.
• Draft redlines, proofread, and ensure accurate citations (ALWD).
• Organize materials for expert review and case preparation.
• Utilize Clio, Word, Excel, and Adobe to support attorneys’ workflow.
