Job summary

The Todd Group seeks an experienced Plant Health Care Technician in Far Hills, NJ to maintain premier residential landscapes and work with a team of licensed professionals. You will diagnose tree, shrub, and turf health, apply integrated pest management, and perform a range of foliar sprays, soil treatments, and seasonal applications.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in plant health care, lawn care, arboriculture, horticulture, landscaping, or turf management
• NJ Pesticide Applicator License preferred (Core and 3A/3B/8B) or willingness to obtain with company support
• Valid driver's license and ability to work outdoors in various weather
• Strong knowledge of tree, shrub, plant, and turf health, pests, and diseases

Responsibilities

• Provide plant health care and lawn care services for high end residential properties in Far Hills, NJ and nearby communities
• Evaluate health of trees, shrubs, plants, and turf; identify pests, diseases, and environmental stress
• Perform integrated pest management treatments including fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, and weed control
• Complete foliar sprays, trunk injections, soil treatments, and seasonal applications
• Operate and maintain application equipment; keep accurate digital records
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members about health and treatment plans
• Identify opportunities to upsell additional services; partner with technicians on larger projects
• Maintain safety, regulatory compliance, and property presentation standards
