Job summary

Orion Placement in Floyds Knobs, Indiana seeks an experienced attorney to advise families on estate planning, probate, elder law, and related trusts. This on-site role offers direct client contact, autonomy, and opportunities to grow a portable book of business within a full-service platform.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of estate planning experience, a bar license in at least one state, and the ability to obtain licensure in Indiana and Kentucky.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant attorney experience
  • Experience in estate planning, probate, elder law, trusts and estates, or closely related practice
  • Active bar license in at least one U.S. state and ability to obtain licensure in Indiana and Kentucky

Responsibilities

  • Advise individuals and families on estate planning, probate, elder law, and related trusts and estates matters
  • Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, and other estate planning documents
  • Guide clients through estate and probate administration from initial consultation through resolution
  • Counsel clients regarding asset protection, incapacity planning, elder care, and wealth-transfer strategies
  • Manage client matters independently while collaborating with attorneys across complementary practice areas
  • Develop trusted relationships with clients, referral partners, and community contacts
  • Participate in business development and practice growth
  • Maintain high standards of responsiveness, professionalism, legal analysis, and client service

Pay: $110,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

Location: Floyds Knobs, Indiana. This is an on-site opportunity for an attorney who enjoys working closely with clients and colleagues in person. The office is conveniently positioned to serve both Southern Indiana and the greater Louisville market.

Note: Candidates must have 2+ years of relevant attorney experience in estate planning, probate, elder law, trusts and estates, or closely related work. An active bar license in any state is acceptable, but candidates must be able to obtain appropriate licensure in both Indiana and Kentucky. We are not considering newly licensed attorneys for this opening.
