Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the relevant state.
• 5years of experience in estate planning, probate, or a related field.
• LLM preferred.
• Strong knowledge of estate planning laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in preparing estate planning documents
• Excellent analytical and research skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain complex legal terms and concepts to clients in an understandable manner

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their estate planning administration needs
• Draft and review estate planning documents
• Analyze clients' financial situations to advise on appropriate estate planning strategies
• Conduct legal research to stay informed on current laws and regulations related to estate planning
• Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to design comprehensive estate plans
• Prepare and file necessary legal documents with relevant authorities
• Represent clients in probate and trust administration proceedings; advise clients on strategies to minimize estate taxes and probate fees
• Address and resolve any disputes or litigation involving estate administration matters
• Conduct regular follow-up meetings with clients to review and update their estate plans as needed
