Job summary

LMK Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Paralegal (Wills, Trusts & Estates) for a full-time role in Red Bank, NJ 07701, at a boutique estate planning law firm. You will support attorneys in estate planning, probate, and trust/estate administration, prepare documents, manage deadlines, communicate with clients and financial institutions, and help refine workflows while expanding your expertise.

Qualifications

• Paralegal experience in estate planning, probate, or trusts.
• Experience in New Jersey or New York is a plus.
• Strong writing, proofreading, organizational and deadline-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Document Preparation: assist attorneys with drafting, reviewing, and organizing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning instruments.
• Probate & Administration: support probate proceedings and trust/estate administration by preparing court filings, gathering asset information, and organizing supporting records.
• Client & External Communication: serve as a primary point of contact for clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and third-party professionals to gather details and maintain momentum on active files.
• Signings & Asset Transfers: coordinate document execution ceremonies, assist with trust funding, oversee asset transfers, and drive outstanding task items to completion.
• Matter & Deadline Management: maintain accurate matter records, manage critical deadlines, and ensure clients receive proactive, timely updates.
• Process Improvement: bring ideas to refine workflows, organize operations, and enhance client experience.
