Octopus Legacy is recruiting for a trainee Field Sales Consultant to help families plan for the future through home visits and virtual appointments. You will guide clients on wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, and you’ll gain hands-on experience in estate planning.

The role suits career changers seeking purposeful, people-facing work with a clear training path, potentially progressing to a Private Client Solicitor track or Estate Planning Consultant role within a supportive, expanding team.

Formación

• Career changers seeking a purpose-led, people-facing profession in a regulated field
• Desire to build legal experience outside traditional paths
• Structured training program in estate planning
• Excellent communicators with high emotional intelligence
• Able to work independently, flexibly and remotely
• Empathetic and client-focused
• Organised and comfortable handling sensitive conversations
• Can drive locally for home appointments (driver’s licence)
• Knowledge of wills, trusts, LPAs, or STEP qualification is a bonus

Responsabilidades

• Conduct empathetic consultations with clients at home or online to understand wishes and explain options
• Explain wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney in plain language
• Keep accurate records and document client decisions
• Collaborate with the legal team to stay updated on standards
• Assist with online wills and other services as needed
• Provide exceptional aftercare and help clients with changes when life changes
