Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Iowa Bar membership is required.
• 3+ years of experience in estate planning and elder law preferred.
• Strong knowledge of probate, Medicaid, and trust administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to network with other professionals.
• Empathy, patience, and professionalism in client and team interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple client matters with attention to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design customized estate plans including wills and trusts.
• Advise clients on Medicaid planning, long-term care, and asset protection strategies.
• Represent clients in probate and estate administration matters.
• Stay updated on elder law and estate planning changes.
• Participate in client education and community outreach.
• Collaborate with paralegals and staff to ensure high-quality service.
