Job summary

Orionplacement in Floyds Knobs, IN, is seeking an attorney with 2+ years of estate planning, probate, elder law, or trusts and estates experience to join our established civil practice serving Indiana and Kentucky clients. This on-site role offers substantial client contact and autonomy.

You will draft documents, guide administrations, and develop relationships with clients and referral partners while collaborating with attorneys across practice areas.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant attorney experience.
• Experience in estate planning, probate, elder law, trusts and estates, or closely related practice.
• Active bar license in at least one U.S. state.
• Ability to obtain licensure in Indiana and Kentucky.
• Strong drafting, analytical, communication, and client counseling skills.
• Ability to independently manage matters and client relationships.
• Existing client relationships or a portable book of business are valuable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Advise individuals and families on estate planning, probate, elder law, and related trusts and estates matters
• Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, and other estate planning documents
• Guide clients through estate and probate administration from initial consultation through resolution
• Counsel clients regarding asset protection, incapacity planning, elder care, and wealth-transfer strategies
• Manage client matters independently while collaborating with attorneys across complementary practice areas
• Develop trusted relationships with clients, referral partners, and community contacts
• Participate in business development and practice growth based on experience and interest
• Maintain high standards of responsiveness, professionalism, legal analysis, and client service
