Confidential Employer, a boutique estate planning and elder law practice in Dayton, OH, seeks an attorney to lead the estate planning process from initial consultation to final plan delivery. You will work with firm-provided prospective clients, design customized estate plans for seniors and families, and oversee wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents.

Job Description

• Counsel existing clients on reviewing, updating, and strengthening their estate plans as circumstances change.
• Design customized estate plans with particular attention to the needs of seniors and their families.
• Draft and oversee wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning and elder law documents.
• Lead client consultations, document signings, and final plan delivery meetings.
• Explain complex legal concepts clearly and practically so clients understand their plans and next steps.
• Maintain accurate, organized client files and ensure consistency across legal documents and records.
• Collaborate with our team to deliver an outstanding client experience from initial consultation through completion.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Ohio Bar license or ability to become licensed promptly.
• 2+ years of estate planning and/or elder law experience.
• Strong estate planning drafting and legal writing skills.
• Confidence leading client consultations and meetings.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Experience serving seniors and their families is preferred.
• Ability to explain sophisticated legal concepts in approachable, plain language.
