Job summary

Moneta Group Investment Advisors LLC in Clayton, MO seeks a Legal Assistant to support the Estate Planning Review Department by coordinating workflow, organizing and reviewing estate planning documents, and preparing summaries for attorney evaluation.

You will serve as a primary contact for internal client teams, manage the Help Desk triage, track deadlines, and assist in training staff on submission procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience; legal, administrative, client service, or document review experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience reading, interpreting, and cross-referencing complex legal or financial documents, and proofreading for inconsistencies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize the department's Help Desk triage spreadsheet and tracking tools; review requests for completeness and accuracy.
• Monitor request deadlines and follow-up to ensure proper routing and on-schedule progress.
• Review and organize wills, trusts, and estate planning documents; extract and summarize information.
• Track provisions, dates, and document requirements; identify inconsistencies or missing information.
• Draft and proofread estate plan summaries for accuracy and formatting.
