Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Estate Planning Associate in a boutique setting focused on sophisticated trusts and estates matters. You will design and implement estate plans, draft wills and trusts, and work directly with clients to achieve wealth preservation and tax efficiency.

The role offers hands‑on client interaction, collaborative mentorship, and a well‑rounded practice spanning planning and administration. California Bar admission and JD from an accredited school are required.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California Bar is required.
• Experience in trusts and estates law is preferred, including drafting wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and related estate planning documents.
• Experience with estate and trust administration, advising fiduciaries and beneficiaries, and transfer tax planning is valued.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills; high attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently while collaborating with colleagues; commitment to client service.

Responsibilities

• Engage in sophisticated estate planning for high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Draft wills, trusts, and related estate planning documents; review and revise for accuracy and tax efficiency.
• Advise fiduciaries and beneficiaries; coordinate with administration and tax planning.
• Interact with clients to design and implement tailored estate plans and long‑term legacy goals.
• Collaborate within a team to provide comprehensive trusts and estates guidance and mentorship.
