Qualifications

• 2–5 years legal work experience preferred; estate and/or Medicaid planning background helpful but not required
• Excellent verbal, grammar, and proofreading skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage calendars, priorities, deadlines, and document proofs
• Dependable and accountable with a high work ethic to achieve personal and law firm goals
• Ability to lead, mentor and collaborate in a team environment with a positive attitude
• Approaches challenges as opportunities for problem-solving, growth and improvement to systems
• MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Zoom

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with the team to service clients in estate planning, probate, trust administration and elder law
• Mentor and train junior attorneys, and present to groups of 20–30 people in workshops several times a month
• Build and nurture relationships with thousands of clients and ensure high-quality work
• Manage calendars, deadlines and proofreading to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Contribute to leadership initiatives and continuously improve the firm’s processes
