Confidential Employer in Wheaton, IL seeks an experienced estate planning attorney to advise clients on sophisticated planning, drafts trusts and wills, and handle estate administration. 4+ years of estate planning experience, JD and IL bar admission are required.

The role offers on-site collaboration with a growing trusts and estates team. Build lasting client relationships while managing matters independently and coordinating with financial professionals and other attorneys.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on sophisticated estate planning, wealth preservation, and asset transfer strategies.
• Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
• Handle estate and trust administration matters, including related legal and tax considerations.
• Assist clients with estate, gift, and wealth transfer tax planning strategies.
• Provide practical business and estate planning advice to individuals, families, and business owners.
• Work directly with clients, financial advisors, accountants, and referral sources.
• Independently manage matters, deadlines, and client communications while collaborating with other attorneys.

Location: Wheaton, IL. This position begins on-site, offering the opportunity to collaborate closely with our team and build strong client relationships. A partial hybrid arrangement may become available as you become established in the role.

Note: Candidates must have at least 4+ years of estate planning experience, including drafting estate planning documents and working on estate or trust administration matters.
