Beacon Hill's client, a legal technology startup, seeks licensed attorneys with Trusts & Estates / Estate Planning experience to review and revise estate planning documents for compliance with state laws.

Join a remote, project-based engagement offering 2-10 hours of work, with no client-facing duties in the initial phase, and potential future opportunities as the platform grows. Work nationwide on wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.

Formación

• Active bar admission in at least one listed state.
• Currently reside in the state for which they review estate planning documents.
• Experience drafting and reviewing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents
• Strong legal drafting and attention to detail
• Remote project-based contract engagement
• Approximately 2-10 hours of work
• No client-facing responsibilities during the initial phase

This project offers an opportunity to work with an innovative platform focused on making estate planning more accessible and affordable for individuals and families nationwide.

• Review estate planning templates for compliance with state law
• Provide redline edits and legal feedback
• Identify state-specific requirements and recommended revisions
• Review documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives

Requirements

• Active bar admission in at least one of the following states:
  • Delaware
  • Hawaii
  • Idaho
  • Kansas
  • Maine
  • Maryland
  • Michigan
  • Mississippi
  • Montana
  • New Mexico
  • North Dakota
  • South Dakota
  • Utah
  • Vermont
  • West Virginia
  • Wyoming

To support state-specific compliance reviews, applicants must be actively licensed and currently reside in the state for which they are reviewing estate planning documents.
