Job Description
- Meet with prospective and existing clients to assess estate planning needs and provide recommendations.
- Draft and review estate planning documents, ensuring they align with client goals and current laws.
- Guide clients through the engagement process, including fee discussions and payment collection.
- Conduct client meetings to review, update, and finalize estate plans.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, meetings, and legal documents.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and email in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with financial advisors and other professionals to provide comprehensive estate planning solutions.
- Stay current with estate planning, trust, and probate laws to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Participate in regular attorney meetings and firm-wide meetings to discuss complex cases and legal updates.
Qualifications
- Active California State Bar license.
- Minimum of 3 years of estate planning experience.
- Strong knowledge of estate, gift, and income tax laws.
- State Bar Certified Specialist in Trusts, Wills & Probate preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and client management skills.
- Proficiency in legal technology and case management systems.
