Job summary

L. Jennings Law, an established Southwest Arkansas estate planning and elder law firm, seeks an experienced estate planning attorney to build their own practice within the firm. You’ll take over a substantial portion of the managing attorney’s book and begin developing new business.

This on-site role in Magnolia or nearby areas offers partnership-track compensation and an opportunity to earn equity as your book and production grow, with a path to ownership for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Arkansas.
• Experience in estate planning, elder law, or probate.
• Self-starter with ability to originate and grow client relationships.
• Interested in ownership path, not just a job.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an established caseload transitioning from the managing attorney.
• Actively develop and grow your own book of business within the firm's estate planning and probate practice.
• Manage matters independently from intake through completion.
• Work alongside existing support staff (paralegals, drafting, and intake already in place).
• Grow into a true ownership stake as your book and production grow.

About the Role

An established Southwest Arkansas estate planning and elder law firm is looking for an experienced estate planning attorney ready to build their own practice within an existing firm structure. You'll take over a substantial portion of the managing attorney's current book of business as a foundation, while also developing and bringing in new business of your own.

What You'll Do

• Take ownership of an established caseload transitioning from the managing attorney
• Actively develop and grow your own book of business within the firm's estate planning and probate practice
• Manage matters independently from intake through completion
• Work alongside existing support staff (paralegals, drafting, and intake already in place)
• Grow into a true ownership stake as your book and production grow

Compensation

• Partnership-track compensation structure — pay tied to production and book growth
• Strong upside for an attorney who brings in and builds their own clients
• Path to equity/partnership for the right fit

Location & Schedule

• Based in Magnolia or surrounding Southwest Arkansas area preferred
• Open to candidates elsewhere who can be on-site in Magnolia at least 2 days per week
• open to establishing an office in other locations

What We're Looking For
