Job summary

LHH Legal Recruitment Solutions partners with a mid-sized downtown law firm to recruit an experienced attorney for an Estate Planning Counsel or Junior Partner role in Cincinnati. The position focuses on succession planning, wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for high net worth clients.

Qualified candidates will have 6+ years in estate planning and trusts, Ohio Bar licensure or ability to waive in, and a proven ability to build business.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of estate planning and trusts experience.
• Experience drafting wills, planning documents, charitable trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Ohio Bar licensure or ability to waive in.
• Demonstrated ability to build business; not required to relocate or portables.
• Must be able to sit in Cincinnati offices.

Responsibilities

• Grow the estate planning group and succession planning practice.
• Serve local and regional clientele on wills, trusts and related documents.
• Support families and high net worth clients with business succession planning.

LHH Legal Recruitment Solutions is working with one of its long-standing clients as they look to grow their team. The Estate Planning Department of a mid-sized, downtown Law Firm is looking to expand at the Counsel or Junior Partner level for purposes of succession planning. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading practice with highly specialized practitioners. The Group is looking to grow and service their local and regional clientele as well as assist families and individuals in wills, trusts and other estate planning, and documents including high net worth clientele, and business succession planning.

Qualified Candidates will have;

• At least six (6+) years of experience in estate planning, trusts and estates experience
• Experience in related document drafting including but not limited to wills, creation of planning documents, charitable trusts, and power of attorney.
• Ohio Bar State Bar licensure or ability to waive in
• Demonstrated ability to build business, but no portables are required
• Ability to sit in offices in Cincinnati
