Orionplacement in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an experienced estate planning attorney to join our client-focused law firm on a hybrid schedule. You will counsel clients on comprehensive estate planning strategies, draft wills and trusts, and manage probate and trust administration from opening to final resolution.

The role requires an active New Mexico Bar license and 5+ years of estate planning experience, with strong writing, drafting, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Counsel clients on comprehensive estate planning strategies tailored to their goals.
  • Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and other documents.
  • Manage probate and trust administration from opening to final resolution.
  • Represent clients in guardianship, conservatorship, and fiduciary litigation when necessary.
  • Appear in court for hearings and other proceedings.
  • Develop strong client relationships through responsive communication and trusted guidance.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver exceptional service and efficient case management.
  • Stay current on estate planning laws and practical strategies.
