Orionplacement in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an experienced estate planning attorney for a hybrid role serving clients across New York and New Jersey. You will advise on planning strategies, prepare wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents, and collaborate on sophisticated tax planning matters.

Responsibilities

• Advise individuals and families on estate planning strategies designed to preserve and transfer wealth.
• Develop and implement estate plans, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related planning documents.
• Assist clients with estate tax planning and strategies designed to minimize tax exposure.
• Analyze client financial and family circumstances and recommend appropriate planning strategies.
• Communicate directly with clients to understand objectives, explain legal options, and provide practical guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys and other professionals on sophisticated estate planning and tax matters.
• Stay current on applicable federal and state estate, gift, and tax laws.
• Support related probate, trust administration, and post-mortem matters as needed.
