Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school.
Active admission to the Massachusetts bar.
2 to 5 years of experience in estate planning is required.
Solid familiarity with wills, trusts, and probate.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfort leading client consultations and helping people make big decisions.
Ability to build rapport quickly and work independently in a small, fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

Lead initial consultations and guide families through planning options.
Build relationships with clients from first meeting through signing and beyond.
Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
Ensure documents are accurate and compliant with current state and federal law.
Review completed documents with clients and conduct signing ceremonies.
Manage matters from consultation to completion with paralegals and admin support.
Represent the firm at seminars, client events, and community outreach.
Stay current on estate planning law and suggest process improvements.
