Responsibilities
- This position focuses on trust litigation, estate administration, and estate planning, offering an opportunity to work with a diverse clientele on complex and rewarding matters.
- Represent clients in trust litigation, including will contests, trust disputes, and fiduciary litigation.
- Manage estate administration matters, such as probate proceedings, trust administrations, and conservatorships.
- Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on estate planning, tax implications, and business succession.
- Conduct legal research, prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs, and represent clients in court or mediation as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver exceptional client service and achieve favorable outcomes.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in California.
- Three to five years of experience in estate planning, estate administration, and/or estate litigation.
- Strong understanding of probate, trust administrations, and conservatorships.
- Proven litigation experience, including drafting and courtroom advocacy.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Client-focused approach with a commitment to building trusting relationships.
